The Couple

Having lived fewer than ten miles from the beach since we were kids, we often take for granted how wonderful it is to live on the Jersey Shore. For Meghan and Mike, originally from Connecticut, the Jersey Shore has always represented a place to vacation with their families, but on Saturday, that all changed because now the Jersey Shore is the place where they became husband and wife!

The Wedding Day

Family and friends traveled from Connecticut, from Meghan and Mike’s current home of Colorado, and even from California, to join them in celebrating their marriage. My favorite moment of the day was when it came time for Mike to see his bride. I peeked over at him at the altar and immediately noticed that he was overcome with emotion and couldn’t hold back tears. It was so sweet to witness. During their ceremony, Meghan and Mike alternated between fighting back tears and smiling from ear to ear. Once their union was sealed with a kiss, Meghan and Mike were all smiles and laughter, and they enjoyed their wedding day in the relaxed way that they envisioned. Their photo session took place on the beach and these two, along with their bridal party, were troopers, because the beach in July on a gorgeous summer day? It was HOT and crowded! We’re so thankful for a fun group that was willing to walk on hot sand and dodge all the beach-goers. Meghan and Mike, thank you for allowing us to capture your wedding day! Along with a lifetime of happiness and love, we wish you many years of vacations on the Jersey Shore, skiing in Colorado, and quality time with family and friends in Connecticut. Congratulations!!
