For fourteen years, I worked as a high school educator while building Idalia Photography - shaping the studio with the same belief that guided my classroom: structure creates freedom.
On a wedding day, that means when the timeline is thoughtfully designed and expectations are clear, there is space to breathe - space for laughter between portraits, quiet exchanges before vows, and the unscripted moments that become part of your story.
Preparation does not eliminate spontaneity - it protects it. When a day is paced intentionally, portraits feel natural, lighting is considered, and couples move through their celebration fully present.
