il Tulipano is a Northern NJ Wedding Venue located in Essex County, in the town of Cedar Grove. We love this venue for its gorgeous, elegant ballroom, its beautiful Tuscan-inspired outdoor gardens, and its impeccable menu of delicious Italian regional cuisine. They have one of the best cocktail hours we’ve seen to date! One of our favorite features of il Tulipano is the Mediterranean feel you get as soon as you step outside into the “piazza” patio and gardens. With its lush greenery, romantic lamp posts, and the soft sounds of a waterfall, it makes you feel like you’ve escaped to an Italian villa somewhere on the Amalfi Coast. And once you’ve entered the ballroom, there is plenty of eye candy throughout, including tulip chandeliers that illuminate the room in the most romantic way possible. If you haven’t gotten enough of the outside, there is a balcony overlooking the piazza that is accessible just a few steps from the dance floor. Our couple, Cristina and Sean, decorated the ballroom with plenty of white florals including gorgeous peonies and orchids that were just stunning.
