Katie and Brian have the sweetest love story. They met in college at Rowan University and started to get to know each other after Brian boldly saved his phone number in Katie’s phone. What a gutsy move! It paid off, though, and before they knew it, Brian surprised Katie with a proposal on one of those adorable boats at the lake in Central Park. So romantic! Jay and I had been looking forward to their wedding day ever since we did their engagement pictures last summer and I have to admit that we were a bit worried about the rain right up to the morning of the wedding. We couldn’t believe the forecast was showing rain all day, especially since their engagement session had gotten rained out last year. They couldn’t possibly have rain on their wedding day, too! We’re so happy that the day finally came and that the weather held up for them this time around. They had a beautiful wedding ceremony at St. Dominic’s Church and then the threat of bad weather made us change our initial plans for photos and we stopped at Windward Beach to try to beat the rain. Luckily the skies cleared up and we were able to take plenty of photos, including some with a beautiful 1965 Rolls Royce. Afterwards, Katie and Brian celebrated with their friends and family at The Sunset Ballroom at the Lobster Shanty. Katie and Brian, thank you for allowing us to document your story. We loved being a part of your special day! Enjoy St. Lucia!!
