One crawls, one tickles, then they pile on each other.
At the end of the day, when all’s said and done,
taking pictures with cousins, is way too much fun!
Poem by Beth Rogers
Last weekend I met these 5 little cousins and their parents at the beach in Spring Lake. They wanted to get their very first set of portraits after the addition of the newest member of the cousins clan, a little baby girl. These are my favorite shots from the sunset session. Enjoy!
When the boys needed a break from pictures we focused on the girls. Pictured above are the two sisters of the group.
Girls only cousins shot!
L. was the perfect oldest cousin/sister. She was so sweet and patient with the little ones, I was so impressed.
The newest addition to the family!
Almost 1! How gorgeous are these big blue eyes?
I love this little guy’s smile!
And this one, too! Only it was just a wee bit harder to catch!
Next it was time for a few more shots of the whole group and we lucked out with
this pretty sailboat, one of the last few remaining ones on the beach.
My absolute favorite shot of the session.
I love the expressions in this one. The mommies and daddies sure did a good job of making everyone laugh!
Another adorable shot of this soon-to-be one year old! I just can’t get over her big blue eyes, always wide open, observing her cousins’ every move.
At the end of the session we even squeezed in a family portrait of this new family of six!
A big thank you to the mommies and daddies at this session, I couldn’t have done it without them!
