Christina and Zach met and started dating while in college at Monmouth University. Their wedding day was long-awaited, and on Saturday, they finally tied the knot at Lake Valhalla Club in Montville, NJ.
The Wedding Day
The minute we saw Christina that morning, we couldn’t help but notice how she was beaming with joy and excitement. She was just so happy that the day had finally arrived and she was looking forward so much to getting her wedding dress on and seeing Zach for the first time that day. Zach awaited Christina on one of the docks at Lake Valhalla and it was obvious that the mere sight of his beautiful bride calmed his nerves and made him feel at ease. After a few private moments, they were ready to begin their photo session. The lake was a perfect backdrop and we couldn’t have asked for better weather either!
The Ceremony
When it came time for their ceremony, I loved seeing the attention to detail that Christina and Zach put into every aspect of the day. Their wedding day had a natural and organic feel to it, and it was sprinkled with hints of rustic burlap and elegant lace that brought it all together. My favorite part of the day was the ring warming ceremony when each one of Christina and Zach’s guests had a chance to say a silent blessing while holding the wedding bands before passing them on to the next guest. What a wonderful way to include your guests in a meaningful way! Christina and Zach, what a privilege to photograph you on one of the happiest days of your lives! We wish you so much joy and love! Enjoy your wonderful honeymoon in Italy and be sure to eat a gelato for us at Giolitti as soon as you get to Rome!
