The Couple

We first met Tom when we photographed his buddy’s wedding a couple of years ago and he was a groomsman in the bridal party. Little did we know then that he’d be proposing to his future wife not too long after that and that he and Teresa would choose us to document their day! We knew they’d be tons of fun on their wedding day and they did not disappoint! From the moment we met, we knew they’d be awesome because they have the best sense of humor and just love to laugh with one another. They have a sentimental side too, though, which is adorable. Tom actually proposed to Teresa at the very restaurant where they had their first date, and they even returned there for their rehearsal dinner on the night before their wedding day. I just love little details like those that are all a part of our sweet couple’s love story.

The Wedding Day

Teresa and Tom’s wedding day last Saturday fell on one of the warmest days of the entire winter. When we saw the temperature forecasted to reach the mid-50’s we may have done a happy dance! It was a beautiful day for a wedding, and an amazing way to kick off our 2016 wedding season! Teresa and Tom both started out the day among family and friends and we felt so welcome right away! There were hints of a winter wedding throughout the day, but most of all, I loved the gray of the bridesmaids’ dresses and the pop of color in their beautiful rose bouquets. It was the perfect color palette for a winter wedding, even if it was unseasonably warm. Teresa and Tom were married in a beautiful church ceremony, followed by a fun ribbon streamers church exit that had me wishing for more ribbon church exits this year. Teresa and Tom, thank you for choosing us to be a part of your wedding day! Congratulations on your wedding and happy honeymooning in St. Lucia!!
