Today I have a fun post to share with you all! In case you missed it last week, I recently decided to make a conscious effort to share a little more about us here on this little blog of ours. Click here if you missed that post! I have to say that I was blown away by your feedback on that post and I was pleasantly surprised to see how popular it was! It was fun to see how many hits it got compared to some of our most popular posts on the blog. It definitely served as encouragement to continue to share a little peek into our lives, as you all share with us on some of the most important days of your lives. In my post last week, I promised to share ten things you probably didn’t know about Jay and I’m keeping my promise! Here are some fun facts about my husband – I hope you enjoy these!
- His #1 guilty pleasure is a Jersey Mike’s “Regular #3.” He could eat it every day of the week, multiple times a day, if he could. And has before.
- He lived in Pennsylvania, Missouri, and Ohio for 10 years.
- He played soccer in college at Muhlenberg a couple of seasons before transferring.
- #nerdalert He was a Jeopardy! champion in 2011. He lost his 2nd game when he misread a children’s literature Final Jeopardy question.
- He is an English professor. See #4.
- He is a huge Devils, Cowboys, and Bearcats fan. And, oh yeah, CUBBIES!!
- One of his favorite things to do on a crisp fall day is ride his motorcycle. He spends a lot of time trying to convince Alex that she should get a Vespa.
- Despite his world travels, his favorite place on earth is Belgrade Lakes, Maine.
- He has run 50 mile ultras, completed an Ironman triathlon (Vineman), and plans to run a 100 miler some day. Kind of crazy if you ask me!
- He has Asian Flush Syndrome. Some of you Asians out there know Asian redface all too well.
So there you have it. 10 things you probably didn’t know about my husband. Your turn! Tell us in the comments what most people don’t know about you, we’d love to know!
