- The Magic of Lights show at the PNC Arts Center in Holmdel NJ features over 240 feet of lights and music. Click here for more info.
- Another old fashioned Christmas activity is picking out and cutting down your very own Christmas tree at Barclay’s Christmas Tree Farm. Listen to carols on the way there and back and reminisce about your childhood Christmases. | Cranbury, NJ
- Season pass holder or not, Six Flags Holiday in the Park is a fun, festive and thrilling holiday treat! Go on rides, watch a show, walk down lighted paths, listen to carols, eat s’mores and more! | Jackson, NJ
- If you and your partner don’t have sea legs, go to New York City and visit Rockefeller Center. The ambiance is festive and it’s worth it to see the tree at least once or twice in your life (or make it an annual tradition)! Hold hands and go ice skating too!
- If water is your thing, consider visiting Adventure Aquarium’s Christmas Celebration at the Camden Aquarium in Camden, NJ.
Downtown Happenings
- Red Bank offers a cute holiday event called Holiday Harmonies. “Tradition carolers, choirs, brass bands, handbells, rock, folk and jazz musicians bring their individual flavor of holiday tunes to the sidewalks of Red Bank. Every Saturday from November 28 – December 19 12pm – 3:00 pm.”
- The Princeton Tour Company offers a Holiday Trolley Tour where you can see the town decorated festively and view houses of some U.S. greats. Explore the quaint town with over 40 shops to browse, a beautiful campus to wander through and take in art at the Princeton University Art Museum.
A Romantic Rendezvous
- Looking to get away or just have a romantic holiday weekend? Spend the night at a B&B in Cape May and take a Christmas Candlelit House Tour or a Holiday Lights Trolley Ride. You can also do some holiday shopping or visit a local winery or brewery! | Cape May, NJ
Nestle in at home
