When I left my teaching job last June I was hoping to not lose touch with all my teacher friends and I’ve been so lucky that photography is keeping me so connected to them. I used to teach with Mackenzie’s mom and was so excited when I got to capture her maternity photos as well as her baby’s newborn images. Mackenzie came to see me last fall with her mom and dad and she was such a joy to photograph. She came a little earlier than planned and was so well-behaved during her session that we completed it in record time! I loved photographing her, but my favorite part of the session was seeing her parents work together to take care of their little girl. They had her feeding, burping, and diaper-changing routines down pat! They’re such amazing parents to their little girl already and I couldn’t be happier for them. For Mackenzie’s newborn session we chose pinks and creams with a little pop of turquoise at the end and I love how girly and delicate her collection turned out. Here are a few highlights from my time with this beautiful family of three.
