Tell us a little about you and your business.
My name is Megan and I am the Co-Founder + Owner of Rustic Drift. Together with my husband Joel, we started this business in 2014 with the goal of creating unique, one-of-a-kind wedding rental items. We focus primarily on hand-built items, with a majority of our materials sourced from reclaimed wood. We’ve combined craftsmanship with event rentals to create weddings that feel more customized. Our most popular items include arbors and ceremony rentals, farms tables, lounges and bars. In addition to these items we also offer standard seating options and vintage props. Having been through it ourselves, we have a good understanding of the wedding planning process. We’re still a relatively new business but most importantly we continue to create new rental items every few months.
What do you love most about what you do?
We get to work with couples on one of the best days of their lives. The love and energy that surrounds everyone that day is undeniable. Who wouldn’t want to be part of it?
What types of services do you offer?
In addition to rental items we also offer custom hand-lettered signage (wood, chalk, glass, etc.), event design, styling and Day of Coordination.
How early should our brides book you?
It’s always better to book sooner than later. Most of our couples book 6-12 months in advance but I have had to turn people down beyond that timeline. With the uniqueness of our items we do have limited inventory supply on some rentals.
What should our brides know about your process and about working with you?
We genuinely care about the productions we create for your wedding day. Whether it is rentals for your ceremony, reception or maybe just a small vignette, we want it to be perfect and memorable for you and your guests. When building our rentals, a majority of our products come out of necessity or request. Our general rule of thumb is if it’s been asked for more than three times, we make it. If you don’t see it on our website, feel free to ask us anyway. It might even be underway. Our unofficial motto is “We put the same amount of love into our products as our couples do their relationships.” That’s really the best way to sum it up. We love this job as much as you love each other.
