Kristen and Alex will be celebrating their one year wedding anniversary this year so the timing of this recent feature on A Paper Proposal is just perfect! These two were married last July at St. Peter’s Church in Point Pleasant and celebrated with their family and friends at The Sunset Ballroom at Jack Baker’s Lobster Shanty. They had a beautifully classic and timeless wedding complete with a gorgeous ball gown for Kristen and a black tuxedo for Alex. The color scheme was full of light pinks and creams in the florals and turquoise to represent Coastal Carolina University, the very place where Kristen and Alex met and where Alex proposed, too. Actually, he proposed right on the baseball field where Alex played many a game for his college. Only this time, “Marry Me” was playing in the background and he made Kristen one happy lady!
Since their wedding, Kristen and Alex have welcomed a little girl into their lives and, needless to say, a lot has changed since last July, so I love that they have these images to remember that time when they celebrated their wedding among their loved ones.
