The Wedding Day

Grace and Denis found us thanks to a former student of mine from my teaching days! Once I started figuring out connections in my head I then realized that I was actually Denis’s sister’s Spanish teacher several years ago. It’s such a small world!

This was actually Grace and Denis’s second wedding day. Their first was this past winter in Korea where they tied the knot in the company of their family and last week, they chose to celebrate again on the most beautiful day. The weather was absolutely amazing. 74 degrees and sunny in mid-April! It was such a long winter and we thought spring would never get here but it has finally arrived in NJ and we’re so thankful!

Grace and Denis both got ready at Grand Cascades Lodge and we love that they scheduled a first look because that meant we had all the time in the world for portraits. What a photographer’s dream! Denis is a photographer himself so we loved that he and Grace placed so much importance on their wedding photos. When it came time for their ceremony, the sun came out and we had the most glowy light as their backdrop. It was perfect! Check out some of our favorite images from the day below.
