Park Chateau Estate and Gardens Wedding

Katy and Derrick have had the most magical engagement and wedding! It all started when Derrick surprised Katy for her birthday with an unforgettable trip to Paris. He planned everything perfectly and proposed to Katy on one of Paris’s most romantic bridges, the Pont de Bir-Hakeim and even had a photographer there to capture the proposal. It was such a dream proposal and we were so impressed when they first shared their story. When it came time to look for a wedding venue, Katy and Derrick visited Park Chateau while it was still under construction, but they already couldn’t believe how beautiful it was. It reminded them of their recent trip to Paris and felt like the perfect venue for their wedding. The cherry on top was that the date they had available around the time when Katy and Derrick wanted to get married was their dating anniversary. They sealed the deal and started planning a wedding at their dream venue for their 9th anniversary.

On the day of their wedding, Katy and Derrick took full advantage of the beautiful Park Chateau Estate and Gardens by getting ready in the gorgeous bridal and groom’s suites, using the estate gardens for their portraits, tying the knot in the chapel, and celebrating in the gorgeous ballroom at the estate. It was such a joyful day, and I loved how relaxed everything was… a perk of designing a wedding day where everything is on site! My favorite part of the day was after the ceremony when Katy and Derrick finally got to see each other and these two couldn’t stop smiling and laughing. They were just so excited to finally be married and to have their wedding portraits done at such a beautiful location. Who can blame them?! Enjoy looking through this recap of their wedding day!
