Envue Hotel Wedding Editorial

Last fall I had the pleasure of working with Be Inspired PR and EVJ Wedding Co. to produce an editorial shoot at the new Envue Hotel in Weehawken. This luxurious waterfront hotel opened its doors in 2019 and has stunning views of the NYC skyline. With its location right on the Hudson River and just steps from the Port Imperial Ferry, it’s no surprise that this is already one of the most sought out venues in NJ.

If you’re planning a modern city wedding, this editorial is going to inspire you in more ways than one. To start, Lace and Belle set the tone with a beautiful invitation suite featuring acrylic on both gold and black. Acrylic is all the rage in the wedding industry but the unique take by Lace and Belle makes this suite stand out like no other and complemented it with an acrylic Save the Date and acrylic seating cards, too. Not to mention gold calligraphy on black!

Continuing the modern and clean theme, Karma Flowers put together stunning all-white florals. Wait until you see the bridal bouquet, tied together with elegant and silky black ribbon. For the ceremony, beautiful floral arrangements lined the aisle and led your eye to the altar, also adorned with white florals and accented with natural greenery. The feature table for the reception was equally as elegant.

Of course, the most exciting element of this shoot was the bride’s Tara Lauren double dress, which included a detachable overskirt. There’s nothing like this emerging trend to make a statement at a modern fashion-forward wedding.
