As the days get chillier and chillier, I’ve been thinking a lot about winter! They say it’s going to be a long winter of being cooped up so I’m already thinking about how I’m going to keep my toddler busy indoors when the only absolute safe indoor location is at home =/ I think we’ll be bundling her up a lot this year and braving the cold!
My 2021 wedding season doesn’t get started until March, so I’m opening up my calendar for lots of winter shoots. I’m currently booking sessions for January, February, and March. Since my calendar won’t be packed with weddings during those months, I’ve got plenty of weekends available to accommodate your work schedules.

Our associate, Jocelyn, shot this winter engagement last year for Sarah and Ray. Bethesda Terrace in Central Park made for the perfect backdrop for this black tie session!
NYC waterfronts get windy in the winter, but they’re so beautiful! Love these images from Allison and Kevin’s cold weather session:
Or how about hitting up an iconic spot in NYC such as the Top of the Rock? Anita and Anthony did just that – and Anita even braved the cold by taking off her coat for this epic shot:
Another favorite place to shoot in my area is Longwood Gardens. They have this beautiful outdoor space:
Parks also make for great locations in the winter. Allaire State Park in Wall, NJ is a great option because it also has some architectural interest to vary up the backdrops.
