Meryem and Matt were married last weekend and it was such a beautiful wedding! These two were engaged back in 2019 when Matt popped the question on The Promenade in Brooklyn, after dinner at the same restaurant of their first date. That started a long engagement and lots of wedding planning. Their long engagement ended up being one of the best decisions they made, because by the time their wedding date came, their friends and family could celebrate safely after over a year since the start of the pandemic.
Meryem and Matt tied the knot at Matt’s church – the same church where he received his sacraments! I love hearing details of how my couples plan their wedding days so I definitely enjoyed learning about this meaningful decision when picking out the location for their wedding. It was a traditional ceremony in a beautiful church followed by a joyous celebration at The Manor.
My favorite part of this day was seeing how much Meryem and Matt enjoyed every part of their wedding day in the best way, especially for the dancing! These two were inseparable! It was so great seeing them be able to celebrate their marriage with all their loved ones.
