Happy September, friends! The last several weeks have been so busy with weddings and engagements and I’m excited to finally share this one with you. Earlier this summer, I met up with Andrea and Jeremy for their engagement session at Skylands Manor. Andrea and Jeremy went to the same high school but never had any classes together and didn’t connect until senior year. When they went off to college, Andrea hoped they’d reconnect again some day, and they eventually did! Now they’re engaged to be married and are planning their beautiful Indian Trail Club wedding for next year.
Skylands Manor Engagement Session
For their engagement session, they chose Skylands Manor for it’s natural beauty and, as usual, it was worth the hike up to Ringwood! We had the nicest summer day and, since it was a weekday, we had the place practically to ourselves. The highlight of the session for me was finding out that Jeremy’s grandfather has been giving Andrea and Jeremy dance lessons!! Not only is that the cutest thing for a grandfather to do, but it made the session so fun with lots of dancing, twirling, and lifts. I also have to say that I love that Jeremy brought his classic car to the shoot! These two make such a great couple… I can’t wait to shoot their wedding next year! Check out some of my favorite images from our time together below along with more of Andrea and Jeremy’s love story.

Their first date
“Now that’s a debate! Although Jeremy asked me out to a real date we have an unofficial first date a few months prior. When our friends cancelled last minute one night, we still went on an adventure in the MG. Jeremy found a ice cream parlor with homemade ice cream and paid for my dessert. He later got sick in a trash can and said, and I quote, “you make me sick” but somehow – it’s our unofficial first date.”
The Proposal
“Since it was the height of covid Jeremy got creative. He picked up dinner and took me to his family’s lake house. He had snuck up there earlier that day to shovel the snow, hang up string lights, and build a fire by the water where we ate. He popped the question after dinner.”
All about the ring
“He crushed it! I love everything about the ring.”
“I was able to create the ring based on what she was looking for. I knew what shape and style she wanted.”
One thing they love about each other
“I love her kindness, sense of humor and her appreciation of the small things.”
“I love Jeremy’s sense of humor and his thoughtfulness.”
Their wedding vision and style
“Chic, elegant, timeless with lots of dancing.”
