When the bride is a graphic designer and designs the most beautiful wedding stationery, you know that the entire wedding day is going to be gorgeous! Jackie and Dom’s wedding day at The Mill Lakeside Manor didn’t disappoint. They planned a fun, floral and citrusy inspired wedding day with lots of bright colors and playful touches that was just a joy to photograph. Jackie is one of the happiest and most joyful people I’ve ever had the chance to work with and Dom was so smitten with her! Everything about their wedding day just overflowed with love and happiness – exactly how a wedding day should be!
Citrus Inspired Wedding at The Mill Lakeside Manor
Jackie and Dom prepped separately before meeting at St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church in Spring Lake, NJ for their sweet ceremony. They both took advantage of a late start to the day to have photos taken at Divine Park and we were able to get photos of them with their families while we waited for the ceremony. Once it was time for the ceremony, we could see how emotional Dom was watching Jackie walk down the aisle, and it was special to witness and photograph. Afterwards, we headed to Divine Park in Spring Lake for some of their portraits. I LOVE doing portraits here – between the lake and the wooden bridge, there’s always somewhere beautiful to photograph my couples. We finished the rest of their portraits at The Mill Lakeside Manor, using the Mill’s beautiful building and lake as a backdrop for their photos until it was time for cocktail hour
Then it was time for the party! Jackie and Dom brought the fun – and the bright colors – to their wedding reception, too. Jackie created beautiful place cards and a signature drink sign. All of it felt super playful, yet elegant and like a perfect fit for the Mill. Jackie and Dom, congratulations on your beautiful wedding! I hope your trip out to Arizona was restful and full of lots of special moments together as husband and wife. Enjoy looking through your summer wedding day!
