I’m excited to share the journey of photographing Quinn Martina’s first year of life in Point Pleasant NJ. Quinn was my first “collective” member, meaning I had the pleasure of photographing her at four important stages: newborn, tummy time, sitter, and first birthday. Babies change so much in their first year, and it’s essential to capture each special stage!
Our first session was when Quinn was just a newborn. I provided the wardrobe for the entire family to make sure everyone looked coordinated and comfortable. It was amazing to capture the tender moments between Quinn and her parents, highlighting the love and joy of welcoming a new baby into the family.
Once Quinn turned four months old, we did her tummy time session to capture all those special expressions and of course her amazing tummy time skills!
When Quinn could sit up on her own, we did the sitter session. This milestone is significant as it shows how much babies grow in such a short time. Quinn was lively and playful during this session. We used some props and toys to keep her engaged and smiling.
The final session was Quinn’s first birthday. We celebrated with a cake , which is always a lot of fun. Quinn was curious and excited about the cake, and we captured some adorable photos of her enjoying the moment with her siblings. Her outfit was especially chosen to match the festive decorations, making the photos even more memorable.
Documenting Quinn Martina’s first year was a wonderful experience. Each session captured a different stage of her growth and the joy she brought to her family. Babies change so quickly in their first year, and it’s so important to have these memories preserved. Mom’s hair and makeup were beautifully done by NJ Bridal Makeup Artist
