Here’s another great idea for unique wedding day photo ideas for the morning of your wedding day! As I mentioned in the first blog post about champagne toasts, getting ready is an ideal time to add in a few fun photo opportunities for you and your bridal party! Nothing says fun, celebration, and party like balloons and confetti! There’s something so exciting about popping those poppers and seeing the confetti everywhere. Today I’m sharing exactly why I love balloons and confetti on your wedding morning for a photo op! A quick note from me to you: I recommend using the big confetti, not the small stuff that hides in every crack and crevice it can find.
While I think this idea adds so much fun and excitement to your wedding morning, it is important to consider where this photo op will take place. While big confetti is considerably easier to clean up than the small stuff, you might want to come up with a clean up plan if you are in a hotel room or at a venue. You don’t want to be spending your precious wedding day worrying about cleaning up confetti! But it’s still a lot of fun, regardless!

Celebrate with Balloons and Confetti
Confetti done right is amazing! Who doesn’t love throwing confetti or blowing a handful in the air? It also allows for lots of candid shots of you and your girls! I love the laughter that ensues once the confetti is flying around. And seriously, what feels better than having fun on the day you get married? You can find super cute “bride” balloons in all colors and they make the most fun confetti balloons, too! Brighten up the bridal suite with some pops of color!
Nicole and her bridesmaids had a TON of fun with their confetti poppers and balloons the morning she was married. The balloons and confetti were an added bonus that made their time together and their photos unforgettable. Your girls are always there for you, whether as a shoulder to cry on, or to laugh endlessly through the night. They are always by your side, so make sure to plan photos that celebrate that!
Whether or not you choose to incorporate balloons and confetti in your wedding day photos as you get ready, you want your photos to tell a story! Here are some items you might want to add to your Amazon cart if you like the ideas in this post:
