Eeek I think this is one of my favorite posts so far this year! Thank you to everyone who responded to my poll last week on Instagram! 61% of those who responded said they wanted to see bridal veil inspiration on my blog and it really motivated me to get this post done for you.
Today, it’s all about bridal veil inspiration! If you’ve followed me for any amount of time, you know I LOVE veils. I feel like they are truly the perfect finishing touch for a bride on her wedding day. They’re romantic, elegant, and FUN!
I’m really excited to share this inspiration post with you, but I’m even more excited to share that my good friend Stacie over at White House Bride is giving away a cathedral veil to one lucky winner! Eek! There’s nothing like a gorgeous cathedral veil blowing in the wind on a wedding day! To enter, head to this post on Instagram for all the details!
Long Veils
First up: a few wedding morning moments of our brides with their mamas or maids of honor. I love the idea of making someone feel so special by giving them the honor of putting on your veil.
Veils also do a great job of softening an image and making your bridal portraits look so elegant and classic!
Long veils can make church entrances so dramatic!
And, of course, they’re so fun to play with during your portrait session!
I secretly hope for a little wind at some point during portraits because veils can sometimes do such fun things!
When the wind blows at the right moment! Ha!
Short Veils
Love the idea of a veil but not into a long veil? A short veil is a beautiful alternative! They’re easier to handle on a wedding day so a short veil is perfect for a bride who definitely wants a veil but wants to be more practical about it.
Having a church ceremony? A veil with lace is perfect for more traditional brides!
I hope you enjoyed checking out all these gorgeous veils! Remember to enter the giveaway for a cathedral veil by visiting my Instagram.
