Eeeek! Today is a good day, friends! The Brookmill Farm wedding editorial that we shot last year in Lambertville is featured on the blog over at Contemporary Weddings Magazine! This shoot was such a fun project to work on because I got to work with all my favorite vendors and it turned out absolutely stunning!
The goal of this shoot was to bring together some of the members of my team of photographers – Jocelyn and Marianne – in order to provide a creative space to get the creative juices flowing just in time for the new wedding season that was on the horizon. I wanted to create an opportunity where we, as photographers, could work together to create images in an environment that would be inspiring in every way. Don’t get me wrong – weddings are inspiring for us, too, but wedding days always happen so quickly and while we do get to capture our brides and grooms just as much as all the pretty details that make up their day, we always have a time constraint. This shoot allowed us to eliminate the pressure of time constraints and gave us the freedom of creating for ourselves. It was amazing!
We brought together an amazing team of vendors that I’ve had the pleasure of working with on different occasions and gave them the opportunity to also create something they could be proud of. Wait until you see their work! From a beautiful tablescape to jaw-dropping florals to the most elegant calligraphy and more, every detail was absolutely stunning. I would photograph this editorial over and over again if I could!
Enjoy checking out this summary of the day as shot by Jocelyn, Marianne, and me!
