When I left teaching and made the leap into full-time photography last spring I knew I wanted to make time for getting together with like-minded creatives in my area. I love everything the Rising Tide Society stands for, so I decided to apply to be a leader in our area and I’m excited to share that they’ve graciously welcomed me as the leader for the new Central Jersey Tuesdays Together group! If you haven’t heard of the Rising Tide Society, it is an international movement for creative entrepreneurs and small business owners built on a foundation of community over competition. I truly believe that a rising tide lifts all boats and can’t wait to start our local group!
Whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been in the business for a while now, you’re invited to join us for coffee and conversation. If you are feeling a little unsure about showing up alone and potentially not knowing anyone, do not worry! It’s our very first meeting and we’ll be spending some time doing introductions and getting to know each other before we dive into the month’s topic. I’m excited for you to join us and I know we’ll all walk way with ideas for how to grow our creative businesses. In the meantime, be sure to join our Facebook Group to connect with me and other creatives in our area and to stay updated on meetings and events.
Our first meeting will take place on Tuesday, November 15th, 2016. After that, all meetings will be held on the second Tuesday of every month. See below for more information on our first meeting.

Who: Creative Entrepreneurs and Small Business CEOs, including: Artists, Bloggers, Boutique Owners, Calligraphers, Designers, Event Planners, Florists, Makeup Artists, Photographers, Stylists, Wedding Pros, Writers and more!
When: Tuesday, November 15th, 2016 from 5pm – 7pm.
Where: Cafe 360 in Freehold, NJ
What to Expect: Open discussions about topics relevant to small business owners and the opportunity to meet and connect with others in our area who understand the hustle involved in running a small business. Bring a laptop and work or just come and chat! I can’t wait to see you there!
