Stella and Colin met at TCNJ and almost ten years later, they were engaged in Mexico and married in the same campus gazebo where they shared their first kiss together! They planned a celebration with their friends and family for last year, but it was rescheduled due to the pandemic, and finally took place last weekend.
Leading up to their big day, the weather forecast showed potential rain, but we were hopeful we’d escape bad weather. Unfortunately, when we woke up that morning, it seemed highly unlikely that it would not be raining during Stella and Colin’s first look and portrait session. We made the last minute decision to head to the Princeton University campus for portraits, where we knew the buildings would shelter us from the rain. In the end, it didn’t rain during Stella and Colin’s first look, nor did it rain for most of their portrait session! We just had a light drizzle towards the end of it, but by then we’d already gotten so many photos for them! I was so thankful!
While their ceremony was moved into the tent instead of taking place outdoors like they had hoped, it was still beautiful and with the open tent, we all felt like we were outdoors anyway. It was a beautiful wedding, and the blush pink and grey color palette was so pretty and timeless!
Stella and Colin, you did it! Your wedding celebration was so beautiful and I was so honored to capture it! I hope you enjoy your Hawaii honeymoon – enjoy the break from wedding planning and take advantage of all that R&R!
