Ever since I attended my first photography workshop last winter with Justin & Mary and had an amazing experience learning from other photographers I knew I wanted to attend another workshop again soon. And if you follow me on Instagram you may have noticed that I was away for a couple of days this week doing just that! When I heard that the CLIC Conference was going to Alexandria, VA and that Katelyn James would be a featured presenter I immediately knew I wanted to go. Of course, it was right in the middle of our busiest wedding season yet so I contemplated it for a while. But Jay encouraged me to go and I jumped on the opportunity. I’m so glad I did because it was a wonderful experience. It was a business and photography conference for photographers who want to connect, learn, inspire, and create. From amazing presenters to connecting with other women in the photography industry to shooting alongside some amazing photographers, it was inspiring in so many ways! I loved learning how others in this industry manage their businesses and continue to grow in their craft and I’m so thankful for the two days of learning and being inspired. If you’re a photographer thinking of attending a CLIC Conference I encourage you to do it – you’ll be so glad you did!
