Every year, right around this time, Jay and I start getting the travel bug. We start dreaming of the new places we’d love to visit or the familiar places we’d like to re-visit. Today we’re reminiscing about Dubrovnik, Croatia, the first stop on our honeymoon adventure in the Western Balkans. Dubrovnik, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a walled city located on the Adriatic Sea where tourists spend their days finding a balance between sightseeing and sunbathing. Jay had already been to Dubrovnik once before so he enjoyed showing me around his favorite spots, which always seem to include city views from higher vantage points. We climbed the city walls, got lost in the maze of narrow streets in the Old City, shopped on the Stradun, and discovered amazing views of the city and sea while riding around on a rented scooter. It was a perfect start to our honeymoon! We hope you enjoy a few favorite images of Dubrovnik as seen through our lenses.
