Megan and Mike are married! They were actually supposed to get married last July but had to postpone their wedding due to the pandemic – another one of our postponed couples! These two met when they were freshmen in high school on the shuttle bus that used to take freshmen from the 9th grade building to the main building. They connected over similar interests, like soccer, and they started dating during senior year. That means this wedding was truly long-awaited!
It finally arrived this past Sunday and their gorgeous spring wedding at the English Manor was the perfect way to start off our May weddings! With a gorgeous navy blue and dusty blue color scheme, it complemented the venue perfectly. I absolutely love when couples use two shades of the same color in their decor. It always looks stunning!
This wedding was shot by our associates Marianne and Amber, and as I reviewed the images over the past week my favorite moments were the two first looks that Megan shared – one with her father and then one with Mike! As a parent myself, I look at these images and can’t help but imagine the joy Megan’s parents felt during that daddy-daughter first look… and as a past bride I know how beautiful that moment was for Megan and Mike. Moments like these make me SO excited for this wedding season to finally kick off!
