The very first newborn I photographed is about to become a big sister and I got to photograph her again this week at just over 18 months old.  It was a beautiful day and I was so happy to get back into the swing of photography after a long vacation.  I was just itching to have my next session as soon as we returned and I absolutely love documenting the growth of this beautiful family.  Mommy and I have known each other since high school and it’s so great to see how happy she is as she becomes a mommy of two!  These are our favorites from our summer morning beach session.  Our session took place at the beach in Spring Lake.  It was the perfect spot for a summer morning beach session because it’s a no swim area.  Generally, there are very few people in this area of the beach, even on the sunniest and hottest summer day so it’s the perfect spot for a daytime beach session.
