The Couple
Gina and Jason met while working at a local restaurant during their teenage years. Their lives then took them separate ways for a while but eventually brought them back to where it all started, which sounds a lot like many great love stories. They bonded while bowhunting and shooting, and the foundation of their relationship was strengthened with Jay’s endless support and Gina’s natural ability to make Jay happy. It’s a beautiful combination that has allowed their relationship to grow by leaps and bounds, and the love they have for each other has been so wonderful to witness ever since we met them.
The Wedding Day
Last Saturday, the forecast called for rain all day long, and thunderstorms at the exact time we had scheduled Gina and Jason’s portraits. But when we arrived at Gina’s parents’ home where she was getting ready with her bridesmaids, we were happy that there was no talk of the weather. Instead, conversations were focused on all things weddings and sweet memories, just the way it should be. It may have drizzled a little when Gina arrived at the church but it didn’t matter much, because she was too excited to walk down the aisle and see Jason waiting for her. And it may have been misty when Gina and Jason exited the church after an emotional vow exchange and first kiss, but it didn’t matter much either, because Gina and Jason were so happy to finally be husband and wife. And in the end, it didn’t thunderstorm, nor even really rain, and it was a perfect day. Here are our favorites from the day and congratulations to Gina and Jason!
