Grand Marquis Wedding Photos

Erin and Tim met in high school freshman year and had almost every class together but it wasn’t until senior year when they went on their first date. They started dating in June and their relationship not only survived but grew immensely despite the long distances between them during college. When it was time for Tim to propose, he planned a perfect evening. He surprised her with a proposal on the boardwalk, followed that up with a surprise celebratory dinner with family, and ended the evening by surprising her with having all their friends meet them for drinks. He wanted it to be perfect and perfect it was!

I think it’s safe to say that these two have waited what seems like forever for their big day to finally arrive! It finally did last Friday on one of the most perfect days of the summer so far. For their wedding day, Erin and Tim went with a traditional, timeless, and elegant day. They each got ready at their parents’ homes and you could feel the excitement in the air, especially with such big wedding parties! When it was time to get dressed though, both of them reserved those special moments for their parents and friends, which we loved.

Erin and Tim set the tone for their wedding day with an elegant invitation from Art Paper Scissors, blush tones, classic black tuxes, and a stunning gown for Erin. They were married in a traditional Catholic ceremony at St. Elizabeth of Hungary followed by portraits at Monmouth University’s Wilson Hall where they had the most beautiful light during their portrait session that day – the kind of light we love to shoot in and wish we could have at every wedding! We love how their wedding came together! It was the perfect mix of timeless elegance and absolute fun. Wait until you see all the lively dance floor images we captured at the Grand Marquis during their reception!
