Some of you might be able to relate to the feeling of not minding quarantine one bit because you get to spend extra time with the one you love. I’ve been calling this “quarantine bliss”, and if there’s anyone who gets to experience that feeling on another level, it’s Nicole and Michael! These two were engaged just a few short months ago in March and have been spending the start of their engagement in complete quarantine bliss, excited about this new chapter of their lives while planning their upcoming wedding.
Nicole and Michael have made good use of their time these last few months and have planned a July wedding! These two are so excited to get married, they’re having a super short engagement and tying the knot in just a couple of weeks. They’re planning a small intimate wedding on the beach on Long Beach Island, where they’ll be accompanied by their immediate families, and I already know it’s going to be a dream. The type of wedding they’re planning reminds me of my own intimate wedding of 11 guests almost eight years ago already!
For their engagement session, I went up to Hoboken on a beautiful and warm morning. Nicole and Michael chose to stay close to home by including the rooftop of their apartment building, the park across the street, and the iconic Court Street. I loved shooting on the rooftop of their apartment building – it was such a unique location and I love that it’s so special to them too. Their photos turned out so dreamy, and I’m so excited to share this session with you – my first engagement session since the pandemic! Here’s a peek at my time with them!
