I first met Alison and Sean during their Hickory Run State Park engagement session last fall. I’ve loved hearing about the amazing beginning to their relationship. In just two years time, Sean proposed to Alison while skydiving 13,000 feet up in the sky, Alison finished nursing school, Sean completed his residency, they planned a wedding, moved from Pennsylvania to Florida, and returned to PA to get married! Phew! I’m excited to see how they’re going to top that, and I have no doubt they will.

For their wedding, Alison and Sean chose Huntingdon Valley Country Club. We loved arriving at the club and seeing the beautiful mansion where both Alison and Sean got ready with their loved ones. It had an old world feel to it and was perfect for the timeless wedding that Alison and Sean had planned. We love venues like this where couples can spend a relaxed day with their friends and family getting ready for the big events of the day.

This wedding was so pretty! To start, the florals were just stunning. Spray roses, lisianthus, hydrangea, delphiniums, and astilbe were all nestled in light greens, eucalyptus, and willow branches. This combination made for the most beautiful bouquets and they complemented Alison’s wedding gown and her maid of honor and junior bridesmaid’s wedding gowns perfectly. For their ceremony, they had the wrought iron gates of the country club as a backdrop for their ceremony along with plenty of florals as decor. It all came together so beautifully! Speaking of the ceremony, Alison and Sean had an evening ceremony followed by their portraits during cocktail hour. We took full advantage of all the pretty backdrops and views in record time before our couple headed off to their reception. We are so excited to show you a recap of their fall wedding!
