Last Monday I announced that I had more 2015 weddings to share and, based on our blog traffic that day, it looks like you guys were happy to see new wedding photos around here! It’s always so interesting to see which posts our readers are most interested in, and the fact that you all come back time after time to see our work means so much to us. Today I’m happy to have these il Tulipano Wedding Photos to share.
Details
As I mentioned last week, we limit the number of Idalia Weddings we photograph each year in order to focus our attention on our own brides and grooms but, occasionally, I reserve a few dates to support our industry friends. This past November, I had the pleasure of working with my friend Jamie Bodo to document Sarah and Brian’s wedding day. I’ve known Jamie for a couple of years now and I definitely don’t get to see her enough, so I was happy to tell her I was available on the day she needed me to help her capture this beautiful fall wedding.
The Wedding Day
The first thing I noticed when I arrived at Sarah’s childhood home was her gorgeous Sottero and Midgley wedding dress. It was so beautiful and I loved seeing how excited she was to finally be able to wear it! She was just as happy to get into it as Brian was to wear his Phillies cufflinks =) Once it was time for the ceremony we all headed over to Notre Dame of Mount Carmel Church and I played a completely different role than what I’m used to by capturing Sarah’s last few moments as a single lady. It was so, so sweet! I loved seeing her brother try to calm her nerves a bit before walking her down the aisle. Documenting all the emotions of the day is what I love about being a wedding photographer. I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting during the off-season and I am just so thankful to be able to do what I love!! And now, with no further ado, here are a few of my favorite il Tulipano Wedding Photos.
