The Details
To think I almost missed out on meeting little Cole! Generally I book newborn sessions 2-3 months before the baby’s arrival in order to ensure availability in my schedule but sometimes I get lucky and I can fit in last minute requests. I was so happy that was the case for Cole because he was such a dream to work with! He actually took some time to settle in but when he did he was the best sleeper and let us put him in all of my favorite poses. His parents wanted a rustic fall look to his images so I used browns, tans, and creams to style the session and I have to say, this color palette is one of my favorites to date! I love images where the baby is the focus and these neutral tones really allow his sweet little features to stand out. Looking at these images I just feel so lucky to work with such wonderful families and beautiful babies. I seriously have the best job and I’m reminded of it every single time I click the shutter and again when I finish putting together a collection of images like this one. I have a busy fall and winter coming up with several babies already booked through February so get excited to see lots more babies on the blog. I’ve actually been thinking about picking a set day during the week to blog them so that you all know when to stop by to view these gorgeous babies and I think I’m going to settle for Mondays. I think you’ll agree that it’s such a sweet way to start the week off on the blog. Here is a peek into Cole’s newborn session – enjoy!
