The Couple

Dan and Caity should have met many times since they had so many friends in common but they didn’t meet until college. Once they met, they hit it off right away and when it was time to propose, Dan couldn’t wait any longer and popped the question during a snowstorm! We had so much fun with them at their Skylands Manor Engagement Session and we knew their wedding day would be just as fun. I have to say, they have absolutely the best hashtag ever (#SchmetsWedding) for their Lake Mohawk Wedding Photos and we’ve loved following them along on Instagram!

The Wedding

Caity and Dan planned a beautiful day – from the bouquet wrapped in both their mothers’ wedding dresses to Caity’s heirloom pearls and engagement ring, every detail was perfect. They even chose to follow a family tradition of happy marriages by having an October wedding. We’re so glad they did because it was the perfect ending to our 2015 wedding season! We wrapped it up a little early this year and we couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful couple to end with!! Caity and Dan, thank you for allowing us to capture your love story!
