Devin and Bobby were engaged last year on the same day that Jay and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary! Only, lucky them, they were out in Greece! Shortly after their engagement, Devin and Bobby reached out to us about capturing their wedding day and we were so excited when they booked their venue so that we could make their date official, too. We immediately scheduled their engagement session in Central Park and it was one of our very favorites all year!

For their wedding, Devin and Bobby chose Lake Mohawk Country Club. They discovered this waterfront venue when Bobby’s mother moved to Sparta only a few months into their relationship. The first time they had dinner on the boardwalk, Devin knew that venue would be the one. They tried touring others but nothing compared to everything LMCC had to offer. We can totally see why – I think we’ve shot at this venue about half a dozen times already but it never loses its charm! On Devin and Bobby’s wedding day we had the most perfect day: 77 degrees and breezy. We were able to take full advantage of the outdoors for both portraits and ceremony and we were all so thankful! Especially our bride and groom who had their hearts set on maximizing the waterfront views for their wedding photos. With a location like this, who wouldn’t?!
