Lauren and Nick met while in college during a fraternity/sorority dance competition and once they met, they were inseparable. After an almost foiled wedding proposal, the two got engaged in New York City and began planning their Stone House at Stirling Ridge wedding day. It was no easy task, as they were living in California and then each one of them had to deal with a cross country move to the East Coast. Luckily, these two make a great team and have supportive families and their wedding day came together beautifully.
Lauren and Nick had a gorgeous fall wedding at the Stone House at Stirling Ridge. When looking for a venue, they loved that this one was a perfect mix of modern and rustic. It is charming and has a country mountain feel while providing urban-like amenities. They felt their friends and family would truly enjoy it and I definitely think they did – all 242 of them! This wedding was huge – one of our biggest this year!
Our bride and groom chose a beautiful autumn palette of burgundy and navy to complement their venue. The florals by Pink Dahlia Vintage were absolutely stunning and really gave the wedding a WOW factor. Wait until you see the giant floral wreath at the ceremony. It was so beautiful and made for a perfect backdrop for their sweetheart table, too.
Lauren and Nick, thank you for allowing me to capture your love and your wedding day. I wish you much joy, love, and continued travel. Enjoy Maine this week and South Africa next. A safari, Cape Town, wine country, and a tropical island to wrap things up sounds absolutely glorious! Congratulations and enjoy these highlights of your wedding day!
