I met up with Megan and Kevin back in February on what we thought would be a cold winter day. Since they had chosen to do a Longwood Gardens engagement session, we planned on being able to do most of the photos indoors. But when the day came, it was spring-like at 66 degrees! We couldn’t have gotten any luckier! Megan grew up going to Longwood Gardens so she was thrilled that the weather would allow us to spend time in so many areas of the grounds. Without having to escape from typical February weather, we had the freedom of exploring the grounds without so much as a coat on. I loved getting to know these two and seeing Longwood Gardens through their eyes. It’s a beautiful location so it was a real treat to shoot there!
Megan and Kevin love to laugh so they warmed up to the camera pretty quickly. We had previously only met via Skype so it was nice to get to know them in person and chat about their fast-approaching wedding. These two are actually tying the knot THIS week!! I’m so excited to go back to New Hope, PA to capture their wedding day at one of our favorite venues from 2016. You’ll have to come back to the blog next week to see the preview from their HollyHedge Estate Wedding! In the meantime, enjoy getting to know these two by scrolling through these Longwood Gardens engagement photos.
