Yisun and Sung had an intimate celebration of their marriage at Ninety Acres last month. They gathered with their closest family and friends to celebrate the start of their lives together and I was honored to document it. They kept things simple, but so beautiful. And we managed to get plenty of outdoor photos in spite of the rainy day we had. Photos were a priority for them. I’m so thankful they were willing to go out under the drizzle so we could capture them on the lovely grounds at their venue. We started their portraits in the gardens, then took a short break indoors while the rain came down, and headed back outside once the rain had stopped.

To keep their decor light and summery, Yisun and Sung chose light cream peonies and greenery to adorn the space. During her college years, Yisun worked as a florist, so she paid extra attention to the flower choices and everything was so delicate and pretty! The florals complemented Yisun and Sung’s timeless style so well, and was the perfect setting for their dinner with friends and family. Speaking of the dinner, if you haven’t been to Ninety Acres yet, you have to go there for date night! They are known for their farm to table cuisine thanks to their 12-acre sustainable farm and the food is absolutely delicious.
