Phew! The last week has been such a blur! It all started last Friday with Amanda and Jonathan’s wedding, the first of three in a triple header wedding weekend for me! I don’t typically shoot triples but all the postponements this year are making this quite a unique year!! I have to say that it was so great being back in the swing of things and I’m excited to share previews of all three weddings this weekend!
First up, is this happy couple who was married in a traditional church ceremony last Friday. Amanda and Jonathan originally planned a wedding at Indian Trail Club but their plans were affected by COVID-19. They decided to postpone their big celebration until next summer, but in the meantime they kept their original wedding date and had a micro wedding instead. It was such a special day!
Amanda got ready at her and Jonathan’s home while Jonathan got ready at his parent’s home not too far away. They tied the knot at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Ridgewood, NJ surrounded by twenty-five of their loved ones. It was so heartwarming to see how joyful Amanda and Jonathan were in spite of all the challenges they faced this year with their wedding plans! These two couldn’t wait to be married, though, and they pulled it off so well! After their ceremony we headed to a local park for portraits and then to Cafe 37 to celebrate. It was truly a perfect day full of joyful smiles. You’ll see lots of those in this blog post!
Amanda and Jonathan, congratulations to you on your wedding! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of it – can’t wait to do it again next August! In the meantime, hope you’re enjoying St. Lucia =)
