If you follow us on Instagram, you may have read that I left my teaching job a couple of months ago to focus on photography full-time. This big change has impacted us in many ways, and a big way that it has impacted my newborn photography is that I no longer have to limit myself to photographing just a couple of newborns a month. This is SO exciting because in the past, I’ve turned away so many little babies simply because of my limited availability on the weekends. Since newborns are best photographed with the first two weeks of birth, I couldn’t risk not being available within that timeframe. But now I can photograph these sweet little beings during the week and I couldn’t be more excited! Get ready to see lots more babies on the blog and on my new FB page for newborns. The session I’m sharing today was from earlier this summer when Baby Blake came to visit me with his older sister, Brooke, and their parents. We started the session out with family and sibling photos and we were able to get two of my all-time favorite sibling shots! Brooke did a fantastic job and had the cutest smiles and Blake slept soundly and looked like a total cutie. I love that mom and dad chose white, cream and blues for the session. It’s a perfect color combination for the classic and timeless photos that I love to capture for my clients. Enjoy these highlights of my time with this beautiful family of four!
