Nothing like a snow day for helping me catch up on the blog! Last fall I had the pleasure of shooting for our good friend Megan from Megan Curren Photography. Megan is a talented photographer from North Jersey who works with us often so you’ve seen her work on our blog before. When she asked me to help her photograph a wedding at Oyster Point Hotel in Red Bank I agreed right away! Back when I started photographing weddings I jumped right into being the primary photographer so I had never had the opportunity to be second photographer before. I thought it would be loads of fun and the experience did not disappoint. My favorite part of this wedding day was photographing the groom while he got ready to see his bride. It was something completely new and different for me to do because I usually spend the morning with the bride. I also enjoyed photographing the bride and groom’s First Look at the Oyster Point Hotel. Second shooting allowed me to experiment and photograph from different angles than the ones I’m used to and, although I love the system that Jay and I have developed when we shoot weddings, it’s always nice to switch things up once in a while. Below are just a few of my favorite images from the day. To view more from this wedding click here for Megan’s post: Oyster Point Hotel Wedding.
