Jess and Nick’s Park Chateau Estate wedding this summer kick started my monthly streak of Park Chateau weddings through this fall and I’m so excited to share it with you today. Jess and Nick are some of the sweetest people I’ve worked with and I could tell all day long how loved they are by the deep connections they have with all their family and friends. I love how much attention they placed on the elegant and romantic details before the wedding, and how on the day of the wedding they focused on living their wedding day to the fullest, embracing all the unforgettable moments and emotions of the day.
Park Chateau Estate Wedding in the Summer
Jess and Nick’s wedding details were so beautiful. I so enjoyed photographing them all, but what really stands out in my mind as I look back at this wedding was all the emotional moments that make a wedding unique. There are too many to name, and too many to show in a single blog post, but at the top of the list was Nick’s reaction to seeing Jess for the first time that day. Their first look took place in the French gardens and I think it’s safe to say that Nick loved seeing Jess as a bride. Their wedding party got to view from the balcony and were so respectfully quiet during the first look – I was so impressed – and after Jess and Nick had shared their special moment, they turned to the crowd and it gave their loved ones the OK to cheer them on – it was so fun! We took a few more portraits in the gardens and then headed inside to the staircase, which had the most beautiful florals draped around them. It made for a beautiful backdrop for some of those timeless images every Park Chateau couple dreams of, and it also made for a nice break from the heat before we did more portraits outside in the gardens.
Jess and Nick held their ceremony on site in the chapel and exchanged the sweetest vows. This is always my favorite part of the ceremony, and I love all the joy these two displayed throughout their ceremony. Another one of my favorite parts of this wedding day was taking a post-ceremony walk with Jess and Nick before they went to enjoy their private cocktail hour for a bit. We headed up to the front of the venue through the gardens and made sure to get an epic dip shot of them in front of the chateau to end their portrait session and transition to the party!
Needless to say, everyone loved celebrating with the new Mr. & Mrs. and I loved the personal details they brought to the ballroom – including photos of their three dogs on the cocktail napkins! I’m all about bringing your personality to your wedding day! Scroll down for some of my favorite images from the day!
Congratulations again, Jessica and Nick!!
