Sarah and Matthew met when Sarah’s friend invited her to a bar one night for drinks and Matt happened to be there! He was living in Texas at the time and she was getting her Master’s at Lehigh, but fate brought them together . Since then, they’ve figured out how to build a life together in spite of challenges and long distances that come with Matt’s position as an Air Force fighter pilot. Their love is truly inspiring, and it was an honor to capture their wedding at Park Chateau Estate last weekend.
For their wedding, Sarah and Matt planned a romantic summer wedding to celebrate the next chapter of their lives. With light blue dresses for the bridesmaids and lots of white flowers, Sarah and Matthew’s color palette were just perfect, complementing the uniforms worn by Matt and several of the groomsmen. Sarah and Matthew knew they wanted a wedding day where guests could enjoy just one location – not having to travel between spots for the ceremony and reception, so Park Chateau Estate was a great choice. They each got ready in the bride and groom’s suites, shared a first look in the gardens, had their portrait session on the grounds of the venue, tied the knot in the chapel, and celebrated in the ballroom. They took full advantage of everything the estate has to offer and it was truly beautiful!
My favorite part of the day was the multiple first looks Sarah added to the day. She had a bridesmaid reveal, then a first look with her father, her grand father, and then with Matt. These moments were all so fun to capture and definitely created lots of anticipation and excitement for the wedding ceremony!
Sarah and Matthew: congratulations!! Your day finally arrived and now you are husband and wife! I hope you are enjoying your honeymoon in Maui, relaxing and enjoying some quality time as newlyweds. I hope this year goes by quickly for you so that you can be reunited again soon!
