Spring Wedding at Park Chateau Estate  Marissa and Chang

Congratulations, Marissa and Chang! This spring, they celebrated in a gorgeous  celebration at Park Chateau Estate and Immaculate Conception Chapel at Mount Saint Mary Academy. The day of the wedding, we had a tornado warning that almost impacted our portrait time, but everything still turned out beautifully! Marissa and Chang planned a timeless wedding day with the prettiest pink, white, and black details. It was gorgeous – and I can’t wait for you to see it all!

Marissa got dressed at Mount Saint Mary Academy, where she went to school. It was a lovely and traditional ceremony with so many of their loved ones in attendance. After the ceremony, I loved spending a few minutes getting a few photos in front of the chapel which I know is so special to Marissa and her family, and also with the classic car they rented, which was so elegant.

Spring Wedding at Park Chateau Estate

After their beautiful church ceremony, Marissa, Chang, and their guests headed to Park Chateau Estate for their reception. Marissa and Chang drew their inspiration from European weddings when planning and loved Park Chateau Estate and the sister property, Park Savoy Estate. Marissa told me that she and her mom visited Park Chateau on a whim because  Chang and she had previously visited their sister facility Park Savoy and thought for sure they’d be booking there. But, she wound up falling in love with Park Chateau. Once Chang and her dad visited, and her dad loved the visit, they were sold on Park Chateau Estate. I’m so glad that’s where they wound up – it’s one of my favorite venues! I love all of the florals they brought into the ballroom – it was SO beautiful.

The most unique part of this wedding day is that by the time we got to the venue, a tornado warning had been issued!  Marissa’s father is a meteorologist (what luck!) and he said we should really do outside photos quickly to get them in before the tornado. Alarms were going off towards the end of our portraits and the sky was getting dark, but by that time we had so many beautiful photos and we were able to take a few more indoors, too. I’m so thankful the tornado didn’t touch down near the wedding.

The entire day was absolutely stunning. Marissa and Chang, I’m so happy for you both! I know you’ve got a wonderful life together ahead of you. Congratulations again!
