Nicolette and Brendan are getting married next July at one of my favorite New Jersey venues, Indian Trail Club. This spring, I met up with them where they live, in New York City, for their romantic spring engagement session! We celebrated their love of this beautiful city in the spring with a session at two iconic NYC spots: The MET Museum and Central Park!
We started off their session in front of the MET Museum, creating classic portraits on the steps of this well-known spot. It was nice to chat with Nicolette and Brendan as the morning warmed up. In fact, it got really hot (unseasonably so!) throughout our entire session. We all felt like we’d had a workout before we even got to Central Park, but they were both troopers! And honestly, you’d never tell – Nicolette looked so beautiful the whole session – even in the heat.
After we were done at the MET, we headed into Central Park. Since Nicolette and Brendan are runners, they prepped for the session by scoping out some great spots for cherry blossoms. They did a wonderful job and we had some great backdrops for the end of their session. Nicolette changed into a fun blue dress and Brendan popped some champagne for them to enjoy near the end. I loved being in Central Park! Their session was just a few weeks before I ran a half-marathon myself there, so it was nice to get a preview of the trail since they run there almost every day! It was a nice bonus on this beautiful New York City engagement session!!
Congratulations, Nicolette and Brendan! I can’t wait for your beautiful June wedding next year.
