When it came time for the first look, we headed to the Lodge at Stirling Ridge and Rex was also full of emotions! I had a feeling he would cry when he saw Ly and I was right – so many tears! He may have been one of my most emotional grooms to date. It was truly so sweet!

Ly and Rex’s wedding had the prettiest color palette of white, greenery, and a few blush and pink accents. It was simply stunning! When they toured the Lodge at Stirling Ridge, Ly knew right away that it was the perfect venue for them. She loves all the natural light and windows, not to mention the warmth provided by the beautiful fireplace (one of my favorite features too!). I’m so glad we did the first look there because it was so cold and windy outside, it really allowed our couple to enjoy the moment comfortably, and then Rex was able to keep Ly warm during the portrait session. Speaking of the portrait session, it actually snowed for a few minutes while we were taking their photos! I couldn’t believe it – my first official spring wedding and it snowed! You just never know with March weather!

One of my favorite parts of this day was that Ly wore not one, not two, but three different dresses, each one prettier than the last. What a lucky lady! You can see all her dresses throughout the blog post below!

Ly and Rex, congratulations on your wedding!! I’m so happy for you both! I hope you enjoyed your honeymoon in Jamaica – I’m sure those beach cabanas were amazing!
