Caroline and Kevin had a gorgeous fall wedding and it was my first one of the season that was filled with stunning foliage! Up in Sussex County, the leaves have turned and the trees are full of beautiful warm tones – it was so nice to have such a rich backdrop on such a beautiful fall day!

On their wedding day, Caroline got ready at the Grand Cascades Lodge. Caroline had sent me some photos of her wedding color palette and bridesmaids dresses so I already knew this wedding was going to be a stunner but it truly came together when I saw her beautiful invitation suite next to her gorgeous bouquet. The mix of mauve, blush, and dusty pink tones looked so pretty together, and wait until you see her bridesmaids’ mismatched dresses. I just loved all the detail that Caroline put into her wedding design!

This day was full of special touches throughout the day. For starters, Caroline wore her mother’s veil!! I can’t believe that 1) she still had it after all these years and 2) it was in such perfect condition! I also loved that Caroline’s family helped her make the table numbers and various signs at the wedding. And one of my favorite details is that Caroline’s brother is a beekeeper and he made the honey that was distributed as favors. So sweet =)

Conservatory at the Sussex County Fairgrounds Wedding

When it came time for their ceremony, Caroline and Kevin had a traditional church ceremony and I think everyone fell in love with Caroline’s gown, which had the most delicate lace sleeves. It was the perfect dress for this fall wedding, and as timeless and romantic as dresses come. After the ceremony, Caroline and Kevin made their way to their venue in a classic Bentley!

They definitely arrived at the the Conservatory at the Sussex County Fairgrounds in style. We did their portrait session right away on the venue grounds and had the most beautiful fall backdrop. Although we love all fall weddings, this one felt so light and airy thanks to the light-colored dresses Caroline chose for her bridesmaids, and the floral choices she made. Magnolia Event Florist did such a superb job!!
