The English Manor Wedding

Congratulations, Becca and Chris! Their stunning spring English Manor wedding day was a truly joyful day. Becca told us that she actually had dreamed of getting married here after driving by it for many years. And now, after having to wait almost a year after her original wedding date was rescheduled due to the pandemic, she’s officially a Mrs.!

Working with one of our favorite New Jersey wedding planners, Shore to Please Weddings, Becca and Chris chose an elegant color scheme of navy, lavender, and cream to decorate with. It was just perfect! I love all the details I discovered when I arrived at Becca’s parents’ beautiful home just a few steps from the beach in Avon-by-the-Sea. I have to say that the location, paired with the sunny day we had, made it feel like a summer day. If this is a sign of what’s to come the rest of this season, we’re in for an amazing next few months!

Becca and Chris got married at St. Elizabeth of Hungary in Avon-by-the-Sea in a traditional church ceremony. I love that we were able to access the balcony and get incredible views of the ceremony from above! After the ceremony and family formals in the church, the bridal party cheered Becca and Chris on as they exited the church and then we headed to the beach. Becca loves the beach so it was perfectly fitting to do some of their portraits there before heading to The English Manor.

Once at The English Manor, we dedicated a few minutes to portraits before Becca and Chris went to enjoy their cocktail hour. Everything went so smoothly and we’re so thankful to Jen and Kelly from Shore to Please Weddings for coordinating such a perfect day!
